We are excited to announce the appointment of Tim Ryan as our new CEO, to help us continue to build on the great work we do to assist people living with MS and other disabilities.
Tim has more than 20 years’ experience across government, private and the not for profit sectors. Tim was, until accepting the position, CEO at The Adelaide Benevolent Society Inc, SA’s oldest charity which provides affordable housing to people in need across 260 homes around Adelaide.
Tim holds a Bachelor of Economics from the University of Adelaide which included studies in politics and social policy.
“I am passionate about making a difference in people’s lives. MS Society SA & NT is an iconic organisation with a rich history and I am really looking forward to ensuring our continued organisational strength and growth to enable us to assist more people to live well with MS,” Tim said.
“I am also really looking forward to meeting as many members as I can, and listening to those with the lived experience of MS. I want to help ensure as an organisation we are very focused on our clients’ needs, your needs.”
President Christine Hahn congratulated and welcomed Tim to the MS Society, coinciding with her time as Interim CEO ending.
“Tim’s appointment will help consolidate the success we have had over the last few years in increasing client services while also improving our financial position,” Christine said.
“I welcome Tim to the MS Society and thank the great team who worked with me over my last 18 months while I was acting in the CEO role.”
